French table tennis star Antoine Hachard has declared for the Season 4 MLTT Draft.
Hachard has two silver medals and four bronze medals in Men’s Doubles at the French Table Tennis Championships. He also earned the Singles silver medal in 2019, which he won after defeating international superstar Simon Gauzy (Men’s Singles No. 19).
Hachard was a member of Alliance Nîmes-Montpellier’s championship-winning French Pro A club in 2025, which also rostered Felix (No. 4) and Alexis Lebrun (No. 12). Hachard is expected to remain with the French Pro A League next season, in addition to competing with MLTT.
The 32-year-old right-hander has a record of 329 wins and 168 losses (66.2%) in 497 ITTF and WTT matches throughout his career. He peaked at No. 91 on ITTF’s Men’s Singles list in 2016.
On the international circuit, Hachard won the Men’s Singles title at the 2016 ITTF Chile Open Santiago and lost to fellow Season 4 MLTT Draft candidate Quadri Aruna (No. 48) in the finals at the 2018 ITTF Challenge Seamaster Nigeria Open. His most recent victory on the WTT series came at the WTT Feeder Panagyurishte 2023, where he won the Men’s Doubles title alongside Anders Lind (Men’s No. 15)
Hachard joins a talented pool of Season 4 MLTT Draft candidates that includes Aruna, An Jaehyun (No. 22), Omar Assar (No. 32) and Takuya Jin. All four of these players will be drafted to an MLTT team on Thursday.
The Atlanta Blazers will select with the first overall pick in the Season 4 MLTT Draft. The Texas Smash will select with the second pick, and the Florida Crocs will select third.
If Hachard falls outside of the top three, then the Bay Area Blasters will have the next opportunity to select him at No. 4. The Los Angeles Spinners, coached by countryman Romain Lorentz, will select one spot after that at No. 5.
MLTT is the only professional table tennis league that assigns incoming players to teams via the draft. The MLTT Draft takes heavy inspiration from other sports leagues based in the United States, such as the National Football League (NFL) and the National Basketball Association (NBA).
