Multiple Major League Table Tennis (MLTT) players will miss their Week 11 matches due to their upcoming participation in ITTF Americas Cup San Francisco 2026.
The Americas Cup starts on Wednesday and ends on Sunday, which overlaps with MLTT’s Week 11 in Houston. As a result, Texas’s Amy Wang (SPINDEX) and Nandan Naresh (SPINDEX), Chicago’s Mo Zhang (SPINDEX) and Carolina’s Eugene Wang (SPINDEX) and Edward Ly (SPINDEX) will not compete with their teams this weekend.
This season, Amy Wang and Naresh hold singles percentages of 55.6% (20-16) and 50% (9-9) respectively. Texas has signed free agents Kayla Goodwin (SPINDEX) and Daryl Tsao (SPINDEX) to replace them on their active roster for this weekend, and both will make their Season 3 debuts.
Zhang holds a Singles percentage of 55.6% (25-20) and a Golden Game percentage of 50.5% (50-49) in Season 3. Free agent Tashiya Piyadasa (SPINDEX), who won four of her nine Singles 2 games (44.4%) in Week 2, will represent Chicago this weekend in Zhang’s place.
Both of Carolina’s affected players were members of the Gold Rush’s championship-winning roster in Season 2. Eugene Wang has a Singles percentage of 33.3% (5-10) and a Doubles percentage of 1-2 (33.3%) this season, and Ly has yet to compete for Carolina this season.
Siu Hang Lam (SPINDEX), Carolina’s first-round pick in the 2025 MLTT Draft (ninth overall), will make his MLTT debut this weekend. He will be joined by free agent Angela Guan (SPINDEX), a three-year MLTT veteran who finished Week 7 with a Singles percentage of 11.1% (1-8).
Texas, Chicago, Carolina and the Atlanta Blazers will compete in Week 11, which will run from Friday through Sunday. This weekend’s slate of matches includes the first meeting between Texas and Carolina since the Season 2 championship match, which will take place on Friday at 8:30 p.m. EST.
All six matches this weekend will be streamed exclusively on Table Tennis TV, and Friday night’s championship rematch will be available for free. You can watch these matches on TableTennis.TV, iOS, Android, Apple TV, Roku and Amazon Fire TV, and signing up today will grant you a 30-day free trial.
