Major League Table Tennis (MLTT) announced its list of players who have declared for the Season 4 MLTT Draft.

The list of candidates for this year’s draft consists of 71 players with SPINDEX ratings above 2400. That list includes 54 men and 17 women. 

An Jaehyun (ITTF Men’s Singles No. 22), Omar Assar (No. 32) and Quadri Aruna (No. 48) have declared for the Season 4 MLTT Draft, and are expected to be selected very early in the draft. They would make their MLTT debuts in Season 4 if drafted, as would many of this year’s candidates.

Sixteen candidates competed full-time for an MLTT team in Season 3, but were released at the end of their seasons. Those players became free agents upon their release, and they chose to declare for this year’s draft in hopes of joining a new team ahead of Season 4. 

There will be 24 selections in the Season 4 MLTT Draft, which corresponds to the total number of current vacant roster spots among each MLTT team. When a team drafts a player on Thursday, that player will assume one of that team’s vacant roster spots and become full-time members of that team.
