PRINCETON, N.J., March 30, 2026 – Major League Table Tennis (MLTT) today announced a new international partnership between its global rating system, SPINDEX, and Ping Pang Paris, a modern, culture-driven table tennis club located in downtown Paris.
Through the partnership, Ping Pang Paris will implement SPINDEX 2.0 across its leagues and tournaments, introducing a more structured and competitive layer powered by MLTT’s free, global rating system. Built on a universal 0–3000 scale and enhanced by Confidence Levels tied to every rating, SPINDEX enables players of all levels to track performance and compete within a single, connected global framework.
The integration will allow Ping Pang players to have verified match results directly impact their global SPINDEX rating, including through league play and organized competitions, aligning the club’s local ecosystem with a broader international standard. The club is preparing to host its first SPINDEX-powered tournament on April 21, marking the official rollout of the system within its community.
“SPINDEX is designed to create a single global language for table tennis, and partnerships like this are how that vision becomes reality,” said MLTT’s Mimi Bosika, who leads SPINDEX’s global competition ecosystem. “Ping Pang Paris represents the future of the sport worldwide. It’s accessible, community-driven, and culturally relevant.”
Ping Pang has quickly established itself as one of Europe’s most distinctive table tennis venues, blending competition with a social, lifestyle-driven experience. With a café-style atmosphere, curated events, and a growing player base, the club reflects a new model for experiencing the sport – one that prioritizes accessibility, engagement, and community.
“Being part of a world ranking from your very first match is one of the coolest ways to enter the sport,” said Quentin Pradelle, co-founder and CEO of Ping Pang Paris. “At Ping Pang, we’re focused on closing the gap between amateurs and the highest level, and SPINDEX does exactly that by bringing meaning, connection, and real progression from day one. Partnering with MLTT, which we see as part of the new guard pushing table tennis forward, is an honor and incredibly exciting.”
SPINDEX 2.0 represents a significant step forward in modernizing table tennis by expanding rated competition beyond traditional tournaments. By incorporating verified one-on-one matches and introducing Confidence Levels, the system creates a more accurate and accessible way for players to establish and maintain a trusted rating, regardless of geography or access to sanctioned events.
As MLTT grows across professional competition, media, and technology, SPINDEX remains central to its mission of expanding access, increasing engagement, and connecting players worldwide through a unified competitive framework.
