Christian Lillieroos stands as a beacon of excellence in the world of table tennis coaching. Holding an ITTF Level 3 certification—the highest coaching credential in the sport—he is qualified to conduct Level 3 courses, underscoring his deep expertise in both coaching and education.
His global experience is unmatched, having worked with table tennis communities in 53 countries and provided coaching support to 19 national teams. From short, intensive two-week training camps to multi-year coaching tenures, Lillieroos has demonstrated exceptional adaptability in developing talent across diverse cultures and competitive environments.
He is a member of the U.S. Table Tennis Hall of Fame, a three-time National Coach of the Year, and has coached seven world champions representing three different countries. His coaching résumé includes leadership of the U.S. Men’s National Team, the Mexican National Team, and Sweden’s Para Table Tennis Team. Beyond coaching, he served as Chairman of the International Para Table Tennis Committee (IPTTC) for 10 years and as Director of Sport for the International Paralympic Committee (IPC). He has also organized table tennis competitions for one Olympic Games, three Paralympic Games, and three World Championships.
